Drift Marine Systems began as a college project between roommates at the University of New Hampshire—united by a shared love for the ocean, engineering, and surfing. What started in a dorm room quickly evolved into a mission-driven venture. As ocean enthusiasts and problem-solvers, we saw a need for innovation in how ocean data is powered and gathered. Our search for a blue energy solution led us to develop a sustainable power system that could transform ocean observation platforms. Today, our mission is clear: to improve the way ocean data is collected by harnessing renewable, ocean-powered energy systems—making data collection cleaner, longer-lasting, and more efficient.
